Following the incredible success of Disney Lion King reboot, Beyonce was tagged to produce the movie’s official soundtrack. Dedicated to her 3-year-old son, Sir Carter, Beyoncé’s “Black Is King” debuted last month on about a year after the live-action “Lion King” starring Donald Glover as Simba and Beyoncé as Nala.
In typical Beyonce fashion, the album was reinterpreted into a visual album, each song getting a music video merged into one long musical masterpiece. The visual album premiered strictly on Disney + which made the experience unavailable for a lot of fans that don’t have access especially in regions like Africa.
Following the release of the visual album, Beyonce began the official release of each music video, starting with Already featuring Shatta Wale & Major Lazer.
Yesterday, the superstar with the help of SAINt JHN, WizKid, and Blue Ivy’s uploaded the celebratory, star-studded ode to dark-skinned, featuring cameos from Kelly Rowland, Lupita Nyong’o, Naomi Campbell and Beyoncé’s daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, is now available to watch for free on YouTube. for “Brown Skin Girl” on Youtube.
