Microsoft Officially Announces New Xbox Series X and S Pre-Order Date & Price

American tech giant Microsoft has officially released news on it’s upcoming game consoles which will continue the line of their Xbox series, the tech leader’s gaming division.

The new console Xbox Series X and S will be for pre-order on September 22 ahead of their release date on November 10 at $499 and $299 respectively.

The Xbox Series X Specs.

  • This powerful new console will have a custom-designed CPU, based on AMD’s Zen 2 and Radeon RDNA architecture.
  • 8K support
  • Frame rate up to 120 fps, ray tracing, and variable refresh rate support.
  • It’ll also utilize a solid-state drive for faster loading times, all of which puts it more in line with a higher-end gaming PC than a console.

The Xbox Series S Specs.

  • Faster loading times, instant game switching, and support for up to 1440p resolution at 120 fps.
  • Unlike the Xbox Series X, which supports up to 8K resolution, the Series S will only offer 4K upscaling and video playback.
  • On top of internal differences, the Series S is also sporting a much more contemporary design versus the Series X, with the console looking more like its predecessors than the Series X does.
