Sho Madjozi is having an outstanding year despite all the news around. The South African rapper and John Cena hit-maker bagged the prize for the Favourite African Star at the 33rd Annual Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards on Tuesday morning. She was nominated alongside Shekhinah (South Africa), Teni (Nigeria) and Patricia Kihoro (Kenya).
Prev Reddy, a South African actor and comic content creator was announced as the winner the Favourite African Social Media Star category, this nomination put him side-by-side with Anne Kansiime (Uganda), DJ Cuppy (Nigeria) and Chané Grobler (South Africa).
Beyonce won the award for Favorite Female Voice from an Animated Movie, while Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson walked away with Favourite Movie Actor and Ariana Grande won Favourite Female Artist. Other winners included Ellen DeGeneres, Lil Nas X, Billie Eilish and Shawn Mendes.
The Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards 2020: Celebrate Together, will premiere on Friday at 16:10 (CAT) on NickToons (DSTV Channel 308). The show will be hosted by Victoria Justice (Victorious) and will be jam-packed with stars, surprises and slime.
