waf.’s 3D-12 is its Latest Exploration of Skate Culture and Design

Following its recently announced collaboration with Adidas, Lagos-born skate and streetwear brand  WAFFLESNCREAM (waf.) is kicking off a series titled 3D-12, a monthly drop of 3 pieces for 12 months starting this September 2026.

The first 3D-12 drop introduces the Ankara Shirt, Cow Trunk Comb and Bata Jesu. Three original pieces that draw from familiar forms and cultural references, reinterpreted through waf.’s distinctive design language.

Founded in Lagos in 2012, waf. has grown from a skateboarding community into a multidisciplinary cultural platform, using fashion, film, art and design to document and shape the creative culture around it. 3D-12 represents another extension of that world, taking the ideas and visual language that have defined WAF beyond apparel and into design.

The project reflects waf.’s longstanding approach to making: resourceful, community-led and rooted in its immediate environment, while exploring how everyday objects, references and experiences can take on new meaning through design.

Through 3D-12, WAF continues a journey that has seen the brand collaborate across fashion, music and design while helping establish one of West Africa’s most recognisable skate communities.

Beginning on September 10th, 3D-12 will continue with 3 monthly drops over 12 months, each introducing new original designs and further expanding the world of WAF.

The September drop is now available at their Lekki store and wafflesncream.com, in limited quantities.
