Afronation To Hold in Ghana Annually After New Five Year Deal

Ghanaian Tourism Authority has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Event Horzion, creators of Afro-nation Festival to host the urban music beach festival for the next five years.

The deal is part of a series of project Ghana has planned for it’s “Beyond the Return” project.

‘Beyond the Return’ aims to engage Africans in the Diaspora and all persons of African descent more positively in areas such as trade and investment co-operation, and skills and knowledge development.

Ghana is a welcoming destination, and we were happy with the warm reception we received, since we took Afro-Nation to the country. The President’s commitment to the project is unparalleled, and we look forward to another successful event in December 2020,” Obi Asika CEO Of Event Horzion told Pulse Ghana in regards the new deal.

The new deal means Ghana Tourism Authority will work with Event Horzion to designs, content and production of Merchandise for the Afro-Nation Ghana Project, as well as establishing a Local Organising Committee, to help plan for each year’s show.
