Beniton releases video for ‘Struggles’, his record hit featuring Stonebwoy.

Remember Beniton aka Jack Frostt, the artiste who broke the internet in 2016 after flipping Rihanna’s ‘Work‘? He recently released the video for ‘Struggles,’ his smashing record featuring Ghanaian dance hall singer Stonebwoy. The song was initially released in May 2019, a controversial moment for Stonebwoy after his feud with Shatta Wale during the Vodacom Ghana Music Awards.

The rhythmically pleasing bop reflects on both artists’ stories and experiences about navigating trials and tribulations of life, as well as the struggles of black communities worldwide. The new video celebrates Ghana’s #YearofReturn, an initiative intended to encourage African diasporans to come to Africa. Beniton explores Ghana’s history and culture consciously while also passing the message of the music across, one synonymous with Marcus Garvey’s Black Revolution. It’s a 5-star recommendation.
