One of the citizens flying the Nigerian flag and making the nation proud both internationally and locally is U.S based Nigerian artiste Rotimi. After releasing an amazing body of work late last year with ‘Beauty of Becoming’, which featured hit tracks like ‘In My Bed’, ‘Fall Back’, ‘Love Riddim Remix’ where he featured the legend Akon and much more. Now, he’s back again with ‘Love Somebody’.
On this track, Rotimi expressed the everyday struggle most people face when they Kobe difficult and broken people. He further expresses that they will be surprised at how simple things will be when they love somebody as the title of the track says. Rotimi sings “Why do we make things difficult, running away from beautiful, you never know how things unfold, it will be good for your soul. It’s not that hard to see, just how simple it is until you love somebody”.
Rotimi further ends the song with an a cappella of different voices singing the chorus which made the song much more beautiful. The cover art of the song as he and his girlfriend who is a Tanzanian superstar, in the garden
locking eyes. This has had fans wondering if he made the song for her and if that meant their love was waxing stronger. Whatever the case may be, we are happy for them.
