#BestNewMusic: Naira Marley and Zinoleesky on “O’Dun,” Victony’s “Outlaw” + Stonebowy, Ayra Starr, Larry Gaaga & more

Rexxie helmed production on Naira Marley‘s “O Dun,” assisted by Zinoleesky. The Marlian tapestry is strong in this one. Victony is in search of another hit, and his EP “Outlaw” is a swing in the right direction.

Kizz Daniel’s Amapiano Influenced “Buga,” assited by Tekno, plays nicely as it beckons you to dance in reckless abandon. The Ghanaian sweetheart Stonebwoy presents a mid-tempo dancehall number on “Therapy.”

Ajebo Hustlers and De La Ghetto came together nicely on Larry Gaaga‘s “Monica,” and Ayra Starr‘s released another solo effort “Stars.”

Other notable releases this week include songs from Cobhams Asuquo feat. Bella Shmurda & Patoranking, Runjozi, Zilla Oaks feat. Makama and more.

Friday has become the de-facto release day in the music industry, a plethora of tracks vie to become the soundtrack of that weekend and beyond. Sifting through it all every Friday morning can be overwhelming for many listeners, so every week we compile some highlights.
