Burna Boy’s fifth studio album, “Twice As Tall”, has earned him several nominations in award categories, given him more prominence and above all, added more to his bragging rights as it granted him another Grammy Nomination.
Among the many amazing tracks on the album, “Way Too Big” which was produced by Leriq and American producer, Mike Dean, has always been an “ear-catcher” as it’s one of the fans favorite track on the album. In the late hours of last night, Burna Boy officially released the visuals for “Way Too Big”.
The video which was directed by Meji Alabi for JM Films opened with a scene of a younger Burna Boy who gazed into what his future was like and was ready to embrace it all.
Also, the video depicted Burna Boy’s stardom. It showed how he has had to deal with pressure from media and the press, fight all his battles and win them and how he has been able to metamorphose into a giant that can’t be stopped. Furthermore, the video also highlighted a few of Burna boy’s endorsements as he posed with the Beats by Dre earphones, and also sat on a Star lager beer billboard which his face was on.
In addition to all these elements, Meji Alabi the director also brought out his creativity to display as the video was top-notch, clear, and colorful. He also made use of the green wall effects which kept Burna Boy in different elements and different scenes that were exciting for viewers.
Burna Boy wrapped up the video with these words on display “Always been too heavy for elevators, steady taking the stairs to greatness”. This can be seen as describing his come up, struggles, and dedication and we love to see it.
