Mayorkun absolutely owned 2020 and it’s quite evident why his name is on every music lover’s lips. His features on “If No Be You” with Jamo Pyper, “MJ Remix” with Bad Boy Timz, “E Be Tinz” with Dremo, “Two” with Zoro, and his latest one which is smashing every countdown, “The Best” with his label head, Davido.
His singles have also been exceptional this year. He released hit singles like, “Geng”, “Betty Butter” with Davido, “Of Lagos”, and his latest track, “Your Body”, all hits.
In the late hours of December 16, he released the colourful visuals for his latest single, “Your Body”. The video was directed by DMW’s lead director Dammy Twitch, and co-directed by Avante Films.
The video had a top-notch choreography led by Mayorkun who brought out his inner Michael Jackson which proved his saying of “Michael Jackson no do pass like this”. The dancers finetuned “The Palliative Dance” originated by Zlatan.
Furthermore, the directors used colourful lights which brightened the video and made it flashy. DMW in-house producer, Fresh VDM, made a surprise appearance towards the end of the video. The styling was well thought out to give Mayorkun a clean and dapper ensemble.
