Burna Boy & Wizkid Win Grammys At This Year’s Awards

The 63rd Annual Grammy Award has been full of anticipation since November 2020 when its nominees was announced and just as we saw most of our faves on the Grammy nomination list, we are assuring them of a good win.

Speaking of wins, Burna Boy who is regarded as an Africa Music giant has won a Grammy in the category Global Music Album for his latest Album Twice as tall which was in every spec of legendary was a glorious one. While Wizkid won the Best Music Video for his song with Beyoncé; Brown Skin Girl, from Lion King: The Gift album. 


The presenter Chika who is also a Grammy nominee in the best new artist category announced the winner of the category with a ‘come up’ look before saying his name with such mighty ease. Burna who was in a white suit and sitting on a couch began his speech with a lovely smile why breathing words of encouragement to every African fighting their dreams. 

The Grammys described Twice As Tall as “a masterclass in the vibe and hustle that have made Burna Boy an international musical force. [He] continues to torch limitations, seamlessly blending styles and genres and fearlessly fuelling the fire heating the melting pot of pop, Afrobeat, dancehall, reggae, and more.”
