Davido Appears On American Radio Show Breakfast Club

Davido is currently on a ”Locked Up” Tour of the United States and will be playing a show in New York City tonight. The Nigerian Afropop star visited American radio show Power 105.1 FM for an interview before his show.

He talks extensively about his youth, upbringing, first hit singles, his relationship with his millionaire father, who initially was not supportive of his career and much more.

The interview with DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God makes Davido the second Nigerian artist to appear on the show following rapper Ice Prince, who was a guest in 2015.

Davido, recently made headlines for enrolling in Nigeria’s mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), is playing Irving Plaza tonight in NYC.
