WAFFLES N CREAM and friends have succeeded in ushering in a new medium through skateboarding and streetwear fashion.
The idea has always been to bring the kids together, how can they most express themselves? How radical can the flames in their hearts be towards exploring the things they believe in?
The growth of the brand proves these values are in the African kids and with their last campaign and new collection.
Following the ‘real way’ of setting our collections to our actual weather, Rainy & Wet 18′ Collection By WAFFLES N CREAM is a typical drop of Tees, Bucket Hats, & T-shirts, trademark Ankara pants all with unique texts like representing strength in my opinion, ‘Am I Not A Man and Brother?’. They didn’t let down on their aesthetics and presentation, they are definitely here to stay.
Streetwear is taking the main stage in fashion and African culture, brands within the skate community like WAFFLES N CREAM help send a positive message using their shows and clothes to keep the youths jiggy and zealous.
The clothes mean something to the generation as they document our buzz, our rise/fall but most of all, deciphering our narrative.
Peace & Love.
