Nigeria’s first skate brand WafflesNCream have announced the 4th Instalment of GoSkateDay Lagos happening on the 26th of June at the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos. Go SkateDay Lagos couldn’t happen last year due to the pandemic, which also affected their former store.
WafflesNCream have been integral in creating awareness of Nigerian skate culture and building communities. Nigerian skate culture has sprouted even further with collectives, like 9enLagos, Dencity, plus2.34, GoSkateNG, among others. WafflesNCream is launching a new store soon as well.
GoSkateDay will see skaters all over Lagos converge to skate and build community. The activities of the day include Skating, BMX, and Rollerblading competitions with cash prizes for the winners. There are also other competitions for non-skaters alike with cash prizes.
