‘Fàájì Repete’ Aims To Be The Party Young Lagos needs.

In just over a year, More Branches has become the fastest growing media platform dedicated to documenting and curating content on the African story from a radical and millennial perspective. A platform that champions both conscious narratives, diversity and transparency as a means of allowing the audience to better understand Africa and the issues within it, and to reach their own conclusions.

Using not only our primary publication, incorporating podcasts, collaborations with creatives in different fields, merchandise and a brand dedicated to curating events called “More Branches Offline” that bring their audience into a more physical space with their ethos.

More Branches Offline” has successfully curated ‘Feel The Music Festival‘, 420 Hot Box, OffBeat Live in collaboration with Village Sound System, an edition of Afropop in collaboration with Ayo Lawson and curated an exhibition at last year’s Art Summit. Now, we’re producing a new experience called Fàájì Repete.

Fàájì Repete is an Afro-fusion party, as well as a cultural melting pot that brings together different minds from the alternative millennial subculture of New Age Africa to interact and network without boarders through Music, Food, Skating, Curated Art Installations, and other selected activities to engage the audience in a new and refreshing way that truly celebrates the diversity, uniqueness and eccentricity that can be found in Lagos. With the rise of creatives several sectors, there’s been an explosion of innovation across Nigeria, culminating in Lagos, all disrupting their industries in incredible ways. Using their crafts and novel ideas to reshape how we think of spaces around us by juxtaposing the status quo with the unorthodox. It’s a vibe nothing like stuffy nightclubs. There is no strict dress code.

We want to celebrate this with a monthly event that brings together these scenes, people, and exciting things Lagos has to offer to ‘Fàájì Repete’ which is Yoruba for ‘Unlimited relaxation’.

Fàájì Repete will be a cultural burst that brings forth interaction between the different social circles and paradigms born in the scene of young individuals defying the norms.

The show will be holding on the 23rd of March, 2018, 5PM at GreenSpace, Tokunbo Omisore street off Admiralty way, Lekki.

Entry: Regular – 1,000 VIP – 3,000

Fàájì Repete is partnering with Max.NG, Trace, Pulse NG, Jameson and Eclipse Live.
