Scottish
Scottish is the lowest tier of weed you can get in most parts of Nigeria. We can’t verify where the name “Scottish” came from, but it’s been popularized more recently. Think of it like an upgraded version of low-grade weed like “Arizona,” or something much closer to what Fela used to smoke.

Cana/Loud
Cana is the next best thing you can buy in the market for a relatively “affordable” cost. It used to be much cheaper, but it’s grown in popularity recently as weed prices skyrocketed and it became the next accessible “good” weed. It’s not the best thing out there, but it’s better than Scottish.

High Grade/Cali Kush/Exotic
This is typically the best strain of weed your money can buy in Nigeria. Typically, this is actual weed from popular strains like “Purple Haze,” “Amnesia,” and “Gorilla Glue.” Depending on the dealer, they might have a wider variety of strains. This is usually imported weed, while the others are locally sourced.

Backi
This is a popularized name for Backwoods, a popular American brand of natural-leaf cigars used to roll weed. It’s become the generic name for all-natural tobacco leaf wrappers.
Rizla
This is a slang term for rolling papers mostly used here in Nigeria. It’s also the name of a rolling paper brand.
