The last time we heard from Kenneth Ize the Nigerian-Austrian fashion designer who is also a LVMH Prize 2019 finalist, he was making his Paris Fashion Week debut. Four months later, as the world slowly braces up to the realities of living with the virus for a long time, Ize is going to be ticking one of his lifelong dreams of working with the most prolific fashion designer of the 20th & 21st centuries, Karl Lagerfeld.

The upcoming spring capsule collection is also a historic moment as Kenneth Ize will become the first black designer, and the first African to collaborate with the high-fashion brand Karl. While we still wait for more information about the collaboration, the only thing we do know at the moment is that it will be available at select Karl Lagerfeld stores and Karl.com from April 2021.
