L.A.X drops highly anticipated 12-track album ‘No Bad Vibes’

L.A.X releases his highly anticipated album ‘No Bad Vibes’ via Rasaki Music/EMPIRE. The high-energy project spans twelve tracks and offers dancefloor-ready serenades that have come to life over the past two years. ‘No Bad Vibes‘ was born during months of touring when L.A.X was increasingly inspired to make music that represents the person he has become and began piecing it together between Lagos, Amsterdam and London.

Hand-picked features from Black Sherif, Ayra Starr, Konshens, Loui and Ronnie Flex bring a selection of leading musicians from around the globe into L.A.X’s musical world that earned him the reputation as the ambassador of vibes. Continuing to live up to the abbreviation of his name, live and excel, the forthcoming months will see him showcase the album throughout Europe and East Africa as he continues to capture the hearts of listeners worldwide.

In 2022, he released a heartbreak-driven single ‘Options’ with breakout musician Ayra Starr before making a statement with summer banger, ‘Para’ which offered a glimpse into what ‘No Bad Vibes’ has to offer. Continuing his good vibes legacy, he released ‘Zaza’ earlier this month, coinciding with the album’s announcement.

‘No Bad Vibes’ begins with ‘Easy On Me’ before ‘Change Your Life’ featuring Jamaican Reggae and Dancehall frontrunner Konshens offers a summer-tinged anthem to fulfill his intentions of reaching dancefloors outside his native. Slightly raising the tempo, the Clemzy and DJ OBI produced ‘Energy’ is reflective of the track’s title before taking things to a new dimension with ‘Bounce’, a sensual offering with contributions from Ghanaian breakout star Black Sherif. Additional verses from Dutch rapper Ronnie Flex on ‘Balance’ & Tanzanian singer Loui on club-banger ‘Joani’ complete a compelling list of collaborators.

The Lagos-born musician might have been a footballer or fitness instructor in another lifetime, using his vitality to manifest his goals across all his interests. His hard-earned global reputation is courtesy of his pioneering sound that fuses Afrobeats, Afropop, and Amapiano to curate club-ready serenades that have since ignited dancefloors internationally. Under his independent label Rasaki Music in partnership with EMPIRE, L.A.X has consistently released high-spirited bangers, including ‘Go Low’, ‘Sempe’ and ‘PEPE’ featuring Afrobeats royalty, Davido.

Collaborations with Wizkid, Simi, Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, Maleek Berry, Moelogo and more have contributed to his international status as an artist who creates fun, energy-filled music partnered with his constantly trending dance moves. Marking a seamless follow-up to his highly regarded album ‘Zaza Vibes‘ (505 Million+ streams), ‘No Bad Vibes’ channels his intentions of re-igniting & fuelling the world’s energy for 2023 and beyond.
