I DONT CONFORM by CHAOS EMB and VII KAY is a 5 track Afro-Grime affair which sees a producer and artist connect to create five unique pieces of music, from party vibes like APHRODITE, to perfectly articulated sounds in GANGA RIDDIM, with each song being inspired by different lived experiences of the artiste and producer.
Each track is an experience of its own, FROM THE EAST takes the artiste back to his Igbo roots and WAGWAN represents his original inspiration from grime culture.
The joining of Vii Kay and Chaos EMB was rather serendipitous, Vii Kay meets a young artist while at the gym with a sound he had never heard before. A producer bored of the old and an artist exploring new possibilities, a match made in heaven, some might call it fate. VII KAY didn’t just explore and improve himself as a producer in this experience, but contributed in the creation of an entirely new sound through the reinvention of afrobeat and British grime.
