Listen to Kehinde’s “Hennessy

Following up the increasingly spreading “Dem Ah Chat” from the early stages of summer 2021, Kehinde Oluwasanjo Abayomi, better known as just Kehinde, is releasing another melody, this time, to serve as a soundtrack for the good times. Aptly titled “Hennessy”, Kehinde looks to retain his signature perfectionism and attention to detail while delivering music that isn’t too stiff and uptight.

With “Hennessy”, Kehinde, yet again, daringly attempts to fuse the primary genres that have influenced his sound over the years. These genres include Afrobeats, Afro-pop and Fuji/Apala. “Hennessy” sees Kehinde take another direction from Kehinde’s last drop, taking him further down the corridors of his own versatility and creativity. Kehinde describes his sound as stylistically progressive and his dedication to personal evolution is evident on his latest single.
