Most people are only familiar with the trio Rookie, Rockie, and Eti, but Forevatired is a robust and dynamic 14-man band of rappers, vocalists, creative directors and producers. The distinctly talented group are bent on redefining what pre-fab pop should be, especially at a time when Nigerian music and entertainment is experiencing a cultural rush.
In March 2020, we featured frvtrd in our Voices of Music segment shortly after the release of Before You Kill Us All–– their eight track blend of melancholic soul and bouncy hip hop records.
The recently hinted the release of their latest project with a Fader Premiere of Devil’s Fruit–– one of the tracks off the mixtape and a song described as the result of what may happen ‘if Pi’erre Bourne took a trip to West Africa’.
