Chinonye Chukwu known for directing and writing the death row drama ‘Clemency’, last year’s Sundance Grand Jury Prize winner has been picked to direct the first two episodes of HBO Max’s Americanah.
Americanah will be a 10-episode limited series, written and showrun by Danai Gurira for HBO Max, WarnerMedia’s streaming service set to launch soon. The series will so far will boasts a casts of Lupita Nyong’o, Zackary Momoh, Uzo Aduba and Corey Hawkins.
