Ighalo won’t be playing his first Manchester United game any time soon, until the end of his 14-day incubation period. The 30 year-old Nigerian striker has been asked to stay away from the AON complex in Carrington amid fears of coronavirus. However, the club manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, said he will be travelling with the squad ahead of Monday’s game against Chelsea.
The player recently returned to the English Premier League on a loan that extends until the end of the season. He is now under a specialist conditioning plan alongside a personal trainer at the National Taekwondo Centre near Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium. He will be able to join up with the squad for the first time on Friday, February 14.
