Raduno 2018: WHEN MUSIC MEETS THE FIGHT AGAINST DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY

Last year a group of millennials with a heart for humanity and the welfare of the members of their community came together to figure out how they can do their own bid for others. After pondering on various ideas, we reached am unanimous decision to put
together a basketball competition to raise funds for charity with the aim of giving every profit made to a charity organisation responsible for disabled people.

Raduno is an Italian word meaning: Get together, rally, convention, meeting et al.

On the 5th of August, 2017 RADUNO pulled off an outstanding feat at Rowe Park, Yaba. The basketball tournament saw attendance from thousands of young people. There was performances from some of the biggest names in the industry including Dremo and Yonda of Davido Music Worldwide and Famous Bobson. The event is expected to hold every summer with different points of focus for every event and it would continue with our second edition sometime in August. Check out a few of our memorable.

As the most anticipated sequel to the last edition, Raduno Africa is hosting a charity concert in collaboration with the Nigerian mental health foundation to raise awareness for the fight against depression and anxiety in Nigeria. This years event is themed the “fight against depression and anxiety” and it is a charity/ youth empowerment program that is focused at using music, arts, food and other activities.
