Sammyfire is no new name to the industry; over the past couple of years he has produced and engineered many smashing hits with from some of the biggest names in the industry including Mr P, Wande coal, Magixx, Dremo and others. On his latest offering he does the unconventional by employing his vocalist side with assist from fast-rising Afrobeats singer Lussh. It’s become a recent trend to see producers embrace their own artistry in full form; Sarmyfire joins the Young John, Pheelz, Kel P and ever-growing lists of music producers who are exploring other art forms and are doing it excellently.
‘Tolani’ is a groovy tune that is slowly intoxicating; seconds into the track and it’s clear the duo had fun creating this amazingly cheeky masterpiece because of how smooth it is to entertain the listeners. The drum-induced beats and Mak Blaze’s final touches bring this ‘gbedu‘ alive, so much that you can’t wait to throw hands to it at owanbes or add to your pepper dem playlists.
SarmyFire discloses to Morebranches that the song is also in loving memory of his late friend–– Rico Swavey who passed away in a ghastly motor accident last year. He also adds that he is working on a full-lenth album expecetd to be released i the later part of the years. So while fans can rinse ‘Tolani‘ as much as they want, Sarmy’s got more fire coming.
