One of Nigeria’s rising gem and also one of the most elusive artist to rise to stardom, Tay Iwar is out of his shell again, this time to release the music video for ‘Monica’ a standout track off his 2019 ‘Gemini’ project.
The music video’s gothic-themed visuals place Tay & his lovers against moods of heartbreak, despair, and lost-love bringing the melodic blues of the song to life.
Truth is, ‘Monica’ really is about fear; fear of love and commitment, the lack of communication and the cycle of failed relationships but the biggest inspiration behind the video is the song itself, the lyrics paint a picture.
