Through The Lens: Aylø releases visuals for smash hit ‘Still II’

Aylø releases his second official video for his first single of the year titled, ‘Still II‘. The video was directed by NARI, a name not so common in the cinematic universe of music videos, we’re proud to say he did justice to it and we’re wondering what other visuals this unknown figure has in store for us.

Following the mood of the song which has Aylø take his vocals on a drive through the bars and melodies, asking ‘What da’ to the missing pieces and confessing his heart still loves, the visuals put Aylø in a majestic juxtaposition with the first scene which sees him on a white horse like a young prince as the video breaks into different cues and clips. Jiggy Aylø moves in and out of different scenes with most of it shot at Takwa Bay in Lagos, and nightlife Lagos a drug for the young Lagosian, he shows character and taking us into his bizarre word with the lyrics popping up when you need to be reminded about what he’s trying to say.

The mood is right and it’s calming to see young creatives present the visual mood board of their songs in more explorative ways that hit home the purest, artistic way they can, it’s up to the viewer to take what they immerse.
