The editors at More Branches update #UndergroundShuffle every week to help you sift through the many amazing underground musical talents from across Africa releasing good enough music to populate your playlists.

Sute lwar’s previous 17-track studio album “199X,” released last year was a strong pointer that highlights his prowess. Currently, he proceeds by launching a track that serves as his 2022 debut opener titled — “Alright, Ok.” While Oladips, has something in him that the street cherish. His former joint 3-pack EP “Mainland To Island” alongside the Zanku headmaster Zlatan Ibile, had cool special numbers amongst the streets. Presently, he serves us a deserving remix of his “Ajala Travel” featuring Zlatan, which was released earlier this year.

The indigenous Igbo Hip-hop act Jeriq who had a joint tape “East N West” with DMW’s Dremo, has further proceeded to launch his debut single for the year titled — “Back To Basics” off his most anticipated debut album “Billion Dollar Dream.” Port-harcourt city’s Barzini has had a stellar year with the Dr. Barz assisted “Rugged You” in 2020. He arrived in 2022 after he launched “Freedom,” and now he adds to his catalog the pop infused “G.O.E.”
