Having kicked off in 2022, Wonu Osikoya’s ‘Osikoya Speaks’ podcast has been at the forefront of telling important backstories about the African entertainment industry, particularly music. Now in its third season, the audiovisual podcast has proceeded to add the ‘Gen Next’ segment of the show.
Wonu Osikoya is a media personality in Lagos, with works spreading across content strategy, podcasting and writing. She started the Osikoya Speaks podcast to play her part at “shedding light on some of the newly discovered music creatives in the Nigerian music industry.”
In this regard, she has added a brand new segment to the show; a brainchild which she calls Gen Next.

Gen Next, which is six episodes deep, has featured fast-rising music acts that Wonu is betting on and rooting for in the African music scene and so far, the guests have been Oladapo, Tariq, Kold AF, Majeed, Bloody Civilian and entertainment lawyers Sanmi & Ifeyinwa.
The segment, alongside this season of the entire show is sponsored by gomoney, a Nigerian digital bank that annuls regular bank transaction challenges.
