Its raining Jollof in Lagos this August and this is how to prepare for it

Food fairs are a great way to enjoy the best of holidays and Eat Drink Lagos, the premier guide to food and drink around the city keeps engaging foodies and local chefs with festivals and lunch clubs. As a sequel for last year’s World Jollof day – EDL, Kitchen Butterfly, and Maggi have teamed up curate Jollof & Other Things – a food festival celebrating all types of Nigerian food, supporting Nigerian businesses, artisan creators and bringing together food lovers across Lagos, this August.

This year’s fiesta moves to a new venue, the famous Muri Okunola Park in Victoria Island where dozens of vendors and the best of Nigerian food producers will have appetizers, main dishes, desserts, cocktails, sweets, and other refreshing things for sale, all under the theme of Nigerian meals. Jollof & Other Things will also feature the Maggi Mystery Box Challenge in collaboration with Red Dish Chronicles Culinary School, the challenge will feature Red Dish Chronicles’ alumni and students and they will be judged by a distinguished panel of Nigerian Chefs.
