There are a million and one animations to watch on Netflix, ranging from childhood classics like Voltron, Pokémon, to the new stuff like Big mouth, South Park. It’s often difficult to get what you actually want to watch straight up, and sometimes what you click just sends you to sleep
I’ve put together 10 adult cartoons that will keep you on your feet when high on some trees, or just looking for something to alleviate your woes.
Rick and Morty
Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland created what is arguably one of the best Sci fi shows of last decade. They brought to life two characters who we have grown to love in Rick and Morty, it is one of the funniest, smartest and most mind-bending shows out there. There are a ton of lovable characters to get to know and love through the course of the show. Season 4 continues with its twists and turns with Morty messing with “Death Crystals” to Rick planning the Perfect Heist or just plain out getting high on dragon smoke.

Archer
I binge Archer every year from top to bottom not just because the way it’s written is just exquisite and orgasmic to the ears, it has to be the best spy show out there. It features Sterling Archer the world’s best secret agent and his team, who face various private, local and international threats on a daily. From Trafficking drugs to fund their organization, to stealing Nuclear weapons for profit, the agency’s moral compass is quite fluid. All in all, it’s a show you’ll enjoy, and can learn a lot of words from.

Bojack Horseman
You know that entitled person that always plays the victim and never takes responsibility for their actions? yes. that’s good ol’ Bojack. The show revolves around a hollywood star who is insecure about his career, and is a real asshole to the people around him. The animation is kind of zany at first, but once you get into it, it’s all you’ll wanna see.

BigMouth
I remember the first time I watched this show I was like “what the fuck” I can never forget my expression. But after a couple of episodes in I wished I had this sort of sex educative show growing up. It features a bunch of kids who are going through bodily and emotional changes because of puberty. They have ‘hormone monsters’ who help them understand those changes, and we see why we did the stupid things we did as teenagers.

Castlevania
This one is a masterpiece, the character development, animation style, music, fight scenes and more, will draw you to this show. The sad part is that most people don’t know it exists. Although many people argue that this is a Japanese anime, it really isn’t, the show is produced by an American Studio.
It is a reimagination of one of Konami’s best games, released in the late 80s. The basic premise follows Dracula, a mournful vampire who aims to wipe out the human race for burning his wife, and Trevor Belmont a vampire slayer who teams up with Alucurd [Dracula’s son] and Cypher, a Witch, to try and stop humanity from becoming extinct.

Final Space
I love this one, it has this jovial touch, and as serious as the issues they face may seem, there is till this comical balance involved that just keeps you smiling all the time. It’s about a Prisoner, Gary Godspeed and a world destroying cutie pie MoonCake, who hold the fate of the universe as he and his team must gather all the dimensional keys to fight the eternal battle in order to bring back his one true love back from Final Space.

F is For Family
F is For Family is a 1970s themed show about a war veteran Frank Murphy and his family going through their ups and downs. The show encapsulates all things 70s fashion, music, drug culture, and not to forget the crippling misogyny. But F Is for Family’s spin on the type is defined as much by Frank’s sputtering frustration and total lack of confidence in himself and his abilities, as it is by his anger and the lack of being able to provide for his family as the head.
