8tch Speaks On Police Harassment on Impressive Drill Tune ‘Whatchu Saying’

Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter 8tch (pronounced “H”) is a hip-hop/Afro-fusion artiste from Nigeria who sees his music path as the perfect tool of expression.

Having grown up heavily influenced by the music played by his family members and environs, “Afro/indigenous” cadences have come to be an integral element of his sound.

After releasing his fourth body of work, a conscious hip-hop project that revolves around societal issues titled “Ceiling Conversations” the rapper followed up with a refreshing and soothing tune titled “Mario” and now he has decided to walk the path of the exciting drill sound.

Released on June 21st, 2021, “Whatchu Saying?” is a Drill and Grime-hinged Hip-Hop song with a focus on the profiling and harassment of youths by the police in Nigeria and other parts of the world.

The uptempo sound, which has become a trending song on Audiomack, channels the energy of youthfulness and the experimental zeitgeist of the Nigerian Hip-Hop scene, making it relatable and, more so, enjoyable. Additionally, “Watchu Saying” shows the lyrical depth and creativity of 8tch as a rapper.
