Derek Saucer-–– real name Gbenga Ojubanire is a Nigerian born Afro-pop and trap singer who’s earliest music memories date from the days of his childhood. His debut singles “Desire” and “Dreams“, both released in 2017, tell stories of how music became an escape for him. His music reflects his optimism for love as well as his sonic versatility.
On his new EP Afro Sauce, Derek flexes his songwriting abilities in conjunction with amazing producers, proving yet again that he understands music so much that it’s his love language.
