Burgeoning alternative soul singer and record producer Sambee, outdoors “Bang” — his EP precursor single.
Hailing from Akwa Ibom State – Nigeria, the UK-based act is renowned for his good vibes, great fashion, storytelling, and club-banging music. Not veering from the cliché, Sambee got started in music through the choir, where he learnt how to play the trumpet, drums, saxophone, and keyboard.
“Digitally, I got into producing at Uni through an artiste friend, PRZY. We had access to a studio for the music program and it was incredible the creating live music using a computer.”
Today, Sambee is tipped as one of the fastest-rising acts on Bristol’s underground music circuit. Still earning his stripes, he has already worked with the likes of JayLon, Pekeys, Seeker OG, Jabani Jante, and PRZY, among others.
The mercurial talent describes his latest drop as: “the chillest bounce I have ever created.” Titled “Bang”, the self-produced joint is ably assisted by Pop Boys — a record producer collective of which he is a member. Speaking about the record he said: “The bounce, the feel, the Sax and the Energy is everything, it would be insane in the clubs.”
“Bang” is lifted off Sambee’s forthcoming EP “Big Head Vol 1.” which is set for release on 25th November.
