Chima Izrozuru on paper, IC Omo Allen on the music streets; this business administration graduate turned melodic genius is one of Nigeria’s finest and versatile artistes making borderless music conscious enough to stand the test of times. Since the release of his first studio album ‘Star In The Garden’ last November, IC has attracted mentions and coverage from the likes of BBC Radio, BeatFM London, as well as a feature on Audiomack’s HomeTown Heroes playlist. A valid reason to be very excited about IC’s future is his tenacity and ability to connect with the pan-African entertainment landscape, building core audiences even in countries he has never been to. If he’s not headlining a niche festival in Mauritius, he is promoting a show in Seychelles or working on the field with directors like TG Omori.
While he has promised another project in the next quarter and an African tour to be announced soon, he is also taking a step to connect with his Nigerian fanbase and attract more listening ears. IC will be kickstarting a Lagos Parlour Tour in five different locations over the next three months.
The first IC Parlour Expeience holds this weekend in Lagos at Barbar Lekki, it will be a live session of good music from IC and a few artists he’s made music with. The event is free and accessible to everyone in search of a memorable rave.
This particular edition is made possible by Block of Sound Entertainment, Massai Dutti Champagne, Barbar, Push Good Music and Morebranches. See you this Saturday!
