“HIT AND RUN” is the first new one-off track from IC since the release of his 2019 debut album Star in The Garden.
While we’ve all been self-isolating to survive this pandemic, IC OMOALLEN connived with the genius music-makers Godo (Production) and GMK (mix & mastering) on his latest genre bending music — HIT AND RUN — an exceptional experimentation of ambient music, pop rap and a splash of jazz. The song such a fitting and enticing ballad of delightful yearning that it is almost impossible to not muse over it while it plays on repeat. According to IC, he wanted to create a mood for his listeners syncing lengthy, repeated rhythmic patterns and a myriad of sonic effects to build intensity gradually.
Hit and run is a poetic expression between Strog and Eros, which exemplifies an unusual experience with an unforgettable lover he only met once. He somehow links this trance with an unusual herb that needs no introduction. While we wait for the release of IC’s accompanying visuals as promised, it’s important to point out that his tune is soothing and therapeutic music with a five star recommendation.
