ICYMI: Featuring Music From Aussie Maze, Korby & More

This week gave us a surprise Taylor Swift album, Rowdy’s release, and the promise of superpowers on the 21st. All in all, it’s not a bad haul if we’re being honest. With that said, here are some recent releases to bump as we destroy cities and whatnot with our newfound powers.

4 in A Litre – Korby

Korby gives us the ultimate kickback tune on 4 in a Litre, his second single this year.

The very song sounds like a relaxing day with your friends, and Korby sings about getting paid, and his passion for his music. It’s got a satisfying beat drop, and Korby doesn’t hesitate to brag about this as he sings “made beats and raps, now my raps and beats they sell”. It’s perfect for chilling with your friends, and that’s no lie nor cap.

Who No Know Go Know – The Cavemen

Ever since The Cavemen took us back to our Roots a few months go, their only trajectory has been up. Continuing in the same vein as Roots, they’ve greeted us with their new single, Who No Know Go Know.

Who No Know Go Know takes us back to the ‘60s, or even to our parents’ record collections, with the nostalgic sounds of our early post-colonial days. This is typical with The Cavemen’s music, but their sound never gets tiring or boring. This single is no different, showering us with premium vibes, and amazing instrumentation. If you didn’t know about the sounds from the cave up until now, all we can say is, na who no know go know.

Hey! – Aussie Maze

As complicated as social interactions can be, Aussie Maze breaks them down for us on Hey!

With bedroom pop as his weapon of choice, Aussie takes us through an encounter between a guy and a girl. It’s an amazing minimalist track, with straightforward lyrics and a Johnny Utah reference to boot.

It’s Been A While – dndSection

Off his new EP Patience Is Best, dndSection catches up with us on It’s Been a While

Prior to the release of the lead singles Zaza and Know Me Well, we’d gone almost a year without new dndSection. The title of the EP says it all, and we’re reminded that Patience Is Best. Section gives us tons of quotables and amazing energy on this standout track.
