Earlier this week, Khalid revealed details of the remix of his song with production duo Disclosure. The track features Afropop star Davido and fast rising alt RnB singer Tems. This disclosure got Afrobeats Twitter super hyped in minutes, mostly because of the abruptness and the Texas native’s choice of two Nigerian artists with distinct sounds and at different levels of their careers.
The soft electronic production is irresistibly arousing as Davido and Tems mildly chant over the tempo with near-perfect delivery along with Khalid. “Know Your Worth” is an invigorating love tune that preaches self worth and acceptance.
This is the Texas singer’s sophomore collaboration with Disclosure, following the huge success of, “Talk,” in 2019. Since the start of 2020, Khalid has been on a row with the release of two solo tracks “Up All Night” and “Eleven“, his latest record marks his first time collaborating with African contemporaries.
