Listen to ‘Rumba’ by South London Afrobeats Artist SKN

SKN (pronounced /skin/) re-introduces himself back into the scene with his first release since 2016, the euphoric ‘RUMBA’ is a melodic, high tempo afrobeats song mixed with a tinge of highlife. The song combines Nigerian and contemporary London sounds to produce a feel-good vibe.

SKN is open about his highlife influences which are Cardinal Rex Lawson, Magic System and Pat Thomas & The Kwashibu Area Band. Rumba was written and recorded in Lagos, Nigeria, because according to SKN, “It was important I went back home to get my soul back”.

The vibrant visualizer accompanying the track does well to put an imprint on an artist who is properly incubated and ready to be widely known. There is a lot more music from SKN on the way in 2020. For now, RUMBA is available on all platforms, you can stream the song below.
