Geng was released a few weeks back and since then, the record has enjoyed massive airplay and hype from Nigerian music lovers. Gang isn’t Mayorkun’s typical love tune, it’s a playful, witty and savage takedown of a rival squads inspired by his circle. The freestyle is packed with popular lingos and subliminals that have now become regular references.
Mayorkun also launched a #GengFreestyle challenge for those interested in responding to the diss track in their own style and it became another viral internet sensation.
