Trill Xoe and Tonero became known in the underground circuit after a successful collaboration on fan favourite ‘Love Like This’ off Trill Xoe’s debut EP ‘Blood, Sweat & Tears’.
Both Tonero and Trill Xoe have a string of individual hits between them and a cult-like fanbase that’s slowly grown and fed of every sound they’ve released. They got together again to collaborate on a new song titled ‘Thunder’.
Tonero represents someone that’s really passionate about music and trying to say something meaningful through every track, from afro infused songs like Missed calls to New Age sounds like ‘Don’t go’ he shows his versatility while still sticking with meaningful content.
Trill Xoe is a 19-year-old producer who has the two projects under his belt and most recently working with members of the Abuja rap crew Apex Village, part of producer collective 44DB, and a lot of singles under his producer catalogue.
‘Thunder’ is easy on the ear melody, with vocals of the same fold and Tonero crying out and staking his claim and everyone in his way will most definitely hear the thunder, all layered over traditional African instruments.
