Quite a lot of people know OjahBee as the manager behind Oxlade, but what most people don’t know is that he is a stellar producer and artist who has scored a number of hits and features with other artists. You cannot talk about people pulling the strings behind the scenes without mentioning the multidisciplinary OjahBee— a name many Nigerians first encountered during the EndSars protests, notably for his activism and his resistance to police oppression.
After a brief hiatus, OjahBee has returned with a self-produced amapiano infused song that features Asake, another songwriter and singer from Lagos with a lot of viral moments on Instagram and Tiktok. They both bring their best foot forward on YAWA— a stress free and groovy song that’s intoxicating and scores high for a club banger or a must have for #LagosinDecember playlists.
It’s great to see OjahBee back to pushing his own craft. The record is all good vibes, especially for the season. It’s a five star listen.
