2022 was an exciting year for Pheelz, who made the most of the massive success of “Finesse,” which established him as one of Nigeria’s most gifted producers and songwriters, as well as an international African star on the rise. Last year, he performed at Essence Fest’s Afrobeats After Dark party in New Orleans and made his US television debut with a performance of “Finesse” on NBC’s Late Show with Seth Meyers. This year, the rising Afropop star is set to accelerate his meteoric rise starting with “Stand by You” off his coming EP “Pheelz Good.”
“Stand by You” is a smooth blend of Afropop and RnB seasoned with gripping harmonies, soulful vocals, and poetic lyrics that showcase Pheelz’s dexterity as a singer and producer. “Stand by You” is Pheelz’s first single of the year and sets the tone for his upcoming EP, Pheelz Good due for release on February 10. “I am excited to share this new music with the world,” Pheelz said. “I poured my heart and soul into this song and I hope it will connect with people in a special way.”
