Damiz, real name “Damilola David Adeoye” is one of the new kids of the block who’s early career is worth taking a bet on. With his very first release and signal of entry into the industry, the Nigerian-bred singer and songwriter has crafted a unique form of afrobeats infused with pop and R&B.
“Busy Body” is a significant step forward in his artistic journey. It is a flirtatious, melodious and feel good track but you will also notice the effortless and seamless transitions Damiz employed throughout the record as well as the abrupt lyrical themes. He sings about some of the most authentic and realest feelings while being able to craft a bop that will have you bobbing your head while driving to any destination. You can sense so much rawness and grooviness in this track.
