Nigerian rapper PsychoYP is definitely on his way to being one of the biggest hip-hop stars in Nigeria’s new era of young musicians staking their claim on the future of the industry. Last year his project ‘YPSZN‘ was a huge success and featured break out hits like ‘Andale’, ‘Heartless’. This year his collective ‘Apex Village‘ released their debut project ‘Welcome To The Ville‘ and it’s pretty good too, PsychoYP stood out with his hard-hitting trap lyrics in most of th songs.
The young rapper is set to release his first official single of the year which is a remix of his last year hit Oga. PsychoYP enlists all stars YCEE, Dremo and Blaqbonez on his lead single “OGA“ to crown it as what he claims will be the HIP-HOP REMIX OF THE YEAR. “OGA“ is the 4th track off his first official mixtape, YPSZN, which was an Apple Music chart-topping mixtape with 2million+ streams on all digital platforms.
The original track enjoyed heavy rotation across radio stations in Nigeria and its official music video premiering on MTV Base.
The 20-year-old hopes to pioneer trap culture in Nigeria and chart his way to the top in the new wave of music breaking barriers in Nigeria and beyond.
