Barcelona based Nigerian multi-disciplinary artist Wekaforé Jibril, AKA Spirit Disco, sings of the importance of gentle physical contact with lovers, friends and family on Tócame – which translates to “Touch me.”

The song is inspired by young intimacy in the multicultural city of Barcelona. The self-directed sentimental video shows the authentic joy, freedom, and laughter that comes with being loved and showing love.

“I’m trying to show that intimacy exists in different forms, and each one is a valid form of appreciation. I want to encourage people to show more appreciation to those close to them, whether it’s their homeboy, significant other, sister, etcetera.”
