Following a break from the spotlight, Sunkanmi took this private time to develop her craft, and she added music production and sound engineering to her skill set. Sunkanmi forges back into the music industry with a beautifully and thoughtfully carved EP titled “Body Language.” This project is a collection of mid to high tempo sounds, and multiple genres including R&B, Pop, Amapiano and Electric house.

“Body Language” brings together some of the finest set of producers in Nigeria such as the likes of Young John, Phantom, Pjay and FreshVdm. The title track “Body Language,” is also the lead single, and is being supplemented by a TG Omori-shot video set to be released in the coming weeks.

Olasunkanmi Rehanat Alonge, better known by her stage name Sunkanmi, is a Nigerian songwriter and singer; Sunkanmi rose to recognition in 2015 when she released “For Body“, a song she enlisted the talents of one of the living great Nigerian musicians, Olamide. She is currently signed to Hit The Ground Running Records.
