Returning with the music video for the lead single, “Sullen” off their collaborative project “Keeps”, STRAFFITI & Rookie SBK continue to build momentum. Primarily an R&B cut fused with Afro-Caribbean production, both artists deliver smooth vocal performances while trading bars between themselves. Rookie and Strafitti both bring melodious cadences to their verses and the lyrics are a slight departure from run of the mill Afrobeats verbiage.
The first single off the duo’s joint project, “Keeps”, is also the first record to receive the visual treatment. The video loosely draws inspiration from themes like therapy and situationships gone wrong. Serving several variations of therapeutic recovery, the video ends with scenes of intense enjoyment giving both artistes nothing to worry about. Directed by Bidemi Popson, the video also previews some unique ThirstyLaboratory/WearThirsty pieces from the new collection, which aligns with the ThirstySonics vision to seamlessly blend music & fashion simultaneously.
