#BestNewMusic: Burna Boy goes guns blazing on ‘Love, Damini,’ Behold the LAMB, Crayon, Korede Bello, & more.

Friday has become the de-facto release day in the music industry, a plethora of tracks vie to become the soundtrack of that weekend and beyond. Sifting through it all every Friday morning can be overwhelming for many listeners, so every week we compile some highlights.

Welcome to “Love, Damini” szn. After dishing out his Grammy Award Winning “Twice As Tall,” 2-years ago, Burna Boy’s artillery becomes stronger — unleashing a star-studded sixth studio album taking after love titled “Love, Damini.” And then, the collective effort of Nigerian rappers Loose Kaynon, AQ, M.I, and Blaqbonez, births the joint project titled “Behold The Lamb,” to spark another Nigerian hip-hop conversation. Korede Bello is back, “Bella” is solid and likely to introduce him to a new audience. Crayon has a fresh golden drop titled “Ijo Laba Laba.”

Other notable releases this week include songs from Mut4y feat. DJ Tunez & Azanti, Native Sound System feat. BOJ, Wani, Odunsi & Odeal, and more.
