YBNL golden boy Fireboy DML broke into the mainstream stardom with his hit single ‘Jealous’ and went on to release an incredible debut album Laughter, Tears & Goosebumps later in 2019. He’s back with his first single of the year, ‘New York City Girl’ –– a song produced by Type A and a fan favourite that’s been leaked over a year ago.
The new single has Fireboy doing everything we love about him and more, as he sings about a summer love with a girl from New York City, hoping to create memories before time runs out and she has to return.
The Clarence Peters shot music-video uses cut and paste-like images to show Fireboy chase his “New York City’ girl in various famous NY themed locations like Statue of Liberty, and shots of Times Square and, what looks like, Grand Central.
